Be
prepared for temperatures in excess of
110 degrees in the peak summer months
and water as warm as a spa. Many of the
canyon walls can provide some degree
of shade from the blistering summer sun,
so keep an eye out for a cool spot to
park your hot boat! Also, watch where
you drop your ride in and where you take
it - the water level is down more than
60 feet and to it's lowest level in 40
years, in fact we're near drought conditions
based on the water level. Many of the
hazards are not marked as they haven't
been a hazard in recent years until now.
