What engine do you have? 496HO, 500HP, 502mag, 525, etc? I am looking to see if our upcoming PowerCommander 5 can be fitted to marine engines to give full fuel control over the engine. Need to see a few here in town to see what can be done, what the stock air/fuel ratio is, etc.

My 502 Ram Jet leaves soot (Unburned Fuel) on the transom if I run premium. It runs clean on Regular and Mid-Grade.
looking for some guinea (however the hell you spell that) pig motor to run some hi-po parts on?

May be James. ;) What motor is in your rig and does it blacken the transom up when idling?
i have the 500efi. i do get some transom soot, but i can't tell you if it's from idling or on plane running. do we need to work out a lake trip for some testing? :thumb::D
