Inline fuel filter

hay guys,

I purchased this universal Moeller Marine clearview fuel filter at west marine today, and when i got home, i noticed that it says its not for inboard motors...

Not quite sure what the difference would be if any, seems like a standard clear inline filter...

is there a difference, or what? maybe this wont flow enough fuel? dunno :dunno:

do i need to return it, or will it work fine?

Maybe it is because if it develops a split in the plastic it can release vapors or fuel in the enclosed hatch. Not sure, just speculating.

I would agree with d4$. As far as performance goes it should work fine. Just my .02
