banner as email signature

i realize this is not boating related but can anyone of you computer gurus tell me how to add a banner into my email signature? i've figured out how to make a signature with text and/or hyperlink but can't figure out how to add an actual banner.

I'm no Guru but I'll give it a shot. Are you using MS Outlook? Go to Signature picker, create a new one, select start with blank, give it a name, use advanced edit, this will take it to MS Word where you can insert your photo and any text. I think

when i do that, the only thing that comes up is just the code for the banner, not the actual banner itself. any other ideas?

I'd be happy to help, but I don't quite understand what you mean by a "banner".... Are you talking about an image? Scrolling text? Can you post it here or at least describe it?

What are you using for an e-mail editor?

something like what you would see as a banner ad but have it as part of my email signature.
