Finally got my homemade seat complete.

Before:

I am pretty happy with the result but will continue with a few details so I can make it sturdy as well as quick to remove for fishing trips.

Looks great but I think you could use a few cup holders around it somewhere.

No dehydration on my boat... Besides, have you ever noticed how people think that those are for cell phones, remotes, suntanlotion, Ipod, etc... To add to the confusion I also mounted two el. outlets on the RH armrest...:D

BTW, I was down at Al's Outboards in Havasu this Saturday, and he's got quite a few V8 parts laying around. I spied two 3.6l motors on 20 midsections on engine stands in the back shop, twin V8's (25") on a 26 Eliminator Daytona from back in the day parked out front, and two V8 powerheads sitting on the floor of the front office. :)

:Thanx: Cupholders bought on E-Bay for 8,- a piece. Looking for two more for the driver seat....

Nice work Kim - great idea in extra cup holders ours are always full too
