I need to have one of my exhaust risers cut, a piece added, and then rewelded. It's not lined up quit right and it keeps trying to burn a hole through my exhaust hose. Can anyone recommend someone?
Whatever happened to Steve from Best Muffler Shop.
Thanks,
Gary

He is still around....you can probably find him on www.performanceboats.com more than on here. What about D4$? I think he has a welder.

What's the material? Cast iron? Steel? Stainless? Is it in/on the boat or removed for easy access?

It's a IMCO exhaust, I'm pretty sure the riser is all stainless. I'll remove it from the boat. I just need to have it cut and then have a 1 1/4" section added in and rewelded. Then I'll take it to R&R prop shop and have them polish it up to match.

Kevin would be a good guy to see about the welding too. Stainless is his forte. :)
