Anyone know of one? Industrial Fiberglass, who did my STV cover, doesn't do it in-house anymore, so I'm looking for someone good in the Valley. Want it done in Sunbrella.
Suggestions?

I have a guy that works out of his house in Henderson. He is going to make my cover when I get back. The ones I have seen turned out well. Prices are fair. Let me know I can get his number.

Keith
I have had BC Canvas in Boulder City do alot of my Canvas work.
I have also used ABC Upholstery in Las Vegas off Freemont Street. Both shops do a good job. I know ABC uses Sunbrella material.

I use Custom Canvas and Awnings – 719 E. Lake Mead Drive
Henderson, NV 89015, 564-1098
They only use sunbrella material and guarantee their work and the cover to last 7 years. Nice job each time ... they made new bimini top covers to color match my boat, and also sewed in leathers to all the rub points on my current cover ... but you need to schedule in as they are in demand and usually backed up. Small, family owned, and great pics of all their boat jobs throughout the shop.
They're also a bit pricey, but I find you usually get what you pay for. I was quoted $1,800 for a new sunbrella bow to stern custom fitted, color coordinated, cover with sewed in leathers for all stress and rub points for the partycat ... 28+ feet of boat. I'm going to have to break down soon.

That is pricey, but you do get what you pay for. A buddy of mine got the same type cover for a 24' deck for $650 through a shop in North Las Vegas. They came to his house and took the measuments and everything. This was about 5 years ago. I do have to say there were spots that just never exactly fit right.
Can't wait to get home and start getting the boat ready, plan on hitting the lake mid-late March. I did not get in any offroading this season so I am going to take a few weeks when I get back and hit the dirt before it get hot.:thumb:

Keith, please send me his number. The cover is the last thing I'm going to do this go-around, pending funds...motors, gearcases and batteries come first, but I'm hoping. :)

Can anyone vouch for this guy? I am thinking about having him do my cover but I have to hand over a cash deposit first, it seems ok but with no storefront i want to be sure he is on the up and up.
Thanks

I felt confident in Keith's recommendation of the guy. Had him come over and take measurements and give me a quote. As soon as I know I have all the stuff I need to make it run in the water, I'll get him to do the cover.

Should be just enough to cover material. He has done several small parts for my boat, and will be doing my cover as soon as I get the extra money. I have seen 8-10 covers he made, and they have all been excellent custom jobs around ski towers bimini tops, etc. He is also going to make me some zip up tower speaker covers.
The nice thing about no store front is he has no over head. He has had a few cars in different magazines and photo shoots. The first thing he does for you will be a great price, but wait till you have a few more things done and the price gets really nice.:thumb:
Let me know what he quotes you guys.
If he screws you I will personally take you to his house. I promise we can find him. :duel:
Have no worries.
