Pics from last weekend :D Good Times. Sand was really soft. We didn't air-down enough in the 2500 4X4 you see stuck with the trailer. We buried it to the frame. We had to unhook the trailer to get it out along with some good old muscle and a 1500 4X4. Once we aired-down more we could go anywhere. I didn't drive my truck up there. A girl that came up said she had a Tundra 4X4. We figured cool, that will be enough. We get there, and it is a Tacomia Off Road. Wasn't even 4X4.

I am not sure even if I had my truck up there they would have let me pull his Chevy out. :dunno::D The weather was perfect. Shorts and T-shirt during the day and at night, pants and a longsleeve. Place was packed though. Don't you have a 4x4 jeep or something? I'll let you know the next time we go up. :thumb:

It isn't real big but it is completely vehicle accessible in the dunes. We should all get a trip going up there.

No problem. We will be up there August 23rd-26th. I will take some more. Maybe we will get PH to drag that jeep out with him. :smashfreak::D

Hey Chad, things are looking good for making the trip up there on 8/24-26. Planning on taking the week off and maybe do a little camping on the way up at a few of the beaches along the coast then Pismo for the weekend.

There are a few beaches in Ventura and past Ventura. You have any idea as to what beaches you were gonna camp at? Ah, it is Refugio. The other is Mcgrath (I think that is how you spell it) and there is always Carpenteria.

The other is Thornhill Broom Beach. No reservations though. First come first serve.

I was out there with about twenty other families that same weekend. The weather was awesome the whole weekend/week...we got there on the 11th.

Nice. It looked like it was empty that day. Headed back there tonight. I figured with the luck PH has had with his boat, I better invest in a good tow rope to haul his Jeep around this weekend. :duel: :D

Yeah there was plenty of wood leftover, took enough for the nest 2 days, thanks. By the way your crew was great, tell them I said tanks again for letting us invade the camp. By the way took 2 trips to get all off our stuff out of there Sunday.

LOL, no problem. The more the merrier. It was good times definitely. Plenty of sand to share. Plus, with all that firewood we had, the fire was big enough to have 30 peeps around. You had a lot of shiat. :D I'm suprised you were able to get out with only two trips. :rollinglaugh:
