QUALITY install shop?

are there any QUALITY install shops in vegas that regularly work on boats? i talked to gary and his schedule got bumped up so he won't be able to help me with the install of my stereo and fans. i'm going to finish the mufflers myself (can you believe that kurt :eek3:) but i won't touch the stereo and fan install. has anyone used a shop in town they would recommend?

I use Boulder City Marine shop for the engine ... but only let Frank touch my boat ... pretty knowledgeable and fair so far and he lets me hang out with him and help, or borrow tools if I do something myself as I store across the street. A lot of Offshore's business has gone there. Has all the necessary shop stuff and is also pretty good at hooking up to diagnose an ECM, merc or otherwise.

293-5838 ... Frank could also recommend someone for the stereo hookup, or would be honest and tell you he does not know.

Also, for high performance ... a new shop that did some drive work for me. Pretty good, but only one experience with them. Asplund Marine ... can't remember the owner's name offhand and their number escapes me, but opened up on the right in Boulder City after the light turn to the lake. Names escape me ...

If I have any gel or body cut work to have done, I bite the bullet and make the trip to Havasu ... GREAT folks at:

thanx TMF, much appreciated. i was afraid this thread would get very little response because i rarely hear of a positive story when it comes to boat work. i've seen asplunds ads and i'll definitely give them a call.

I'm having my 502/whipple rebuilt from Asplund performance later on this week. I'll let you know how it goes and the service/price compared to other marine business in boulder city.
