Just gotta say that one of our own here - Wicked Tahiti - owns and runs www.myrcsupply.com and TOTALLY hooked me up!
I grabbed a Team Losi XXX-T with Brushless motor AND an eFlite Blade CX2 which is FREAKIN' AWESOME! I love the stadium truck and it will be great for the beach and boating, but the heli is SUPER COOL! Granted I've banged it up in the house - I don't have a TON of room - but FINALLY got to fly it outside today as the wind died down and it did phenomenal! I'd HIGHLY recommend getting Benjamin with my rc supply to hook you up!
This is a COMPLETELY unsolicited post and I get NOTHING out of it - but I thought some of you might be into the RC stuff as I am just a bit. If you are - go ahead and shop around then go to Ben's site because he seems to have GREAT prices and he even takes the time to make sure I got the right stuff!
THANKS BEN! NOW let's see that boat on the water!

I'd always considered getting one of those RC boats to use at whatever beach we are at. However, it seems every time I see someone with one they are always messing with it because it will not run...:dunno:

I was thinking the same thing. I wanted to get one as well, but they alway seem to have a problem.

Is Team Losi still in business? I was looking at the ads in RC Modeler (I think that was the rag) and couldn't find their ad. They used to be one of my clients when I was selling and supporting CAD software (in a previous life). Cool guys. Very, very engineered product.

I'm getting a RC sailboat! When I want to see speed I use my own boat, and RC sailboat will always run!

502 - yep - they're still in business! This truck is sweet but I've spent far more time with the heli. I'm hooked on that thing!
Caught a slight breeze flying it in the backyard last night - NEARLY ended up in the pool but I saved it for a nice patio landing. DAMN near drowned $160!!
Flew it in the front yard after that :)
does he have a store here in vegas? my dad is really into rc planes and is going to be here this weekend.

I carry the proboat line and the ABC lines... only the best right... :)
Let me know of any further concerns.
Thanks
Benjamin

Actually, The business is based online. However i lease and operate 2 warehouses. One in Clovis CA and another in Champaign IL. So all orders will be shipped for CA most likely. I quit shipping from the garage years ago :)

We sold them both CAD and FEA software for their design work. I was amazed at the level of analysis and testing Team Losi did on these Miniature vehicles. You certainly can't call them "toys". Mattel sells toys. Although Mattel was one of our customers too! Team Losi is a class act.
