Hey Kim, how about THIRSTY or SMOKER.
BTW, water tested yesterday...71.5 on GPS. I guess raising the motors helped a little...and that was in the 3-4 footers out there yesterday. Maybe more in better water.

71.5?? Not bad at all. What kind of props did you use? RPM? How high is your engine (bottom of boat to center of prop axle)? Any cavitation? Want to raise them more? I came up with an extremely easy, safe, and strong way to lift all of my engines, and will do it soon.

That's with the Bravo 1 24's. Turned them 6100 or so. There might be more in it with this setup...I'll try again next weekend in Havi. Will also try the 26's down there.
Speaking of the 24's, Kevin already sold that 24 LH prop.:crying:
Right now, the centerline of the propshafts are 3/4" below the bottom at their respective points of the V. With my setback, that means the props are still below the waterline when running, assuming 0* trim angle. So other than the PVS holes which helped the holeshot, no other changes and it went almost 2mph faster in not-ideal conditions with the same props.
Yes, I will be raising them more to see if it continues to improve in speed/performance.
