About $250 - goes from 0 to 1,000 degrees in 2 minutes using small blocks of wood and a D Battery powered fan - WATCH THE VIDEO - INSANE!
I'm gettin' me one of these for Christmas :eek3:
I researched dozens of camping or portable bbq's in the last week, and this one seems to beat the others hands down. No propane, wood flavor, the bulk of it is dishwasher safe, it's lighter, with a larger cooking area than most, and USES WOOD! You can even use wood you cut when camping!
Any one else have any BBQ Grills for camping that they LOVE?

I have a Weber that I use. Burnt the handles off using it as a fire pit to keep warm, cuz I could not pay the heat bill.:eek3:
J/K but I really did burn the handles off using it as a fire pit.:rollinglaugh: :rollinglaugh:

I'd buy it straight from woodflameusa.com - but the marine ones are too small I think - maybe big enough for 4 burgers or so - so I'm going to get the bigger one.
I asked them about selling to me in bulk - so I actually may sell them through LVHB if they work like it says - and from the forums and stuff I've read every review says it does work like it says. I'll keep you posted if I end up buying in bulk and re-selling them (actually I mean having the wife do it).

greg may have already beat me to it, but i'll check with them as well and see if they'll let me sign up as a distributor. i was hoping to get with them today but i wasn't able to get it done. i'll shoot for tomorrow.

It DOES do what they say it will - it's VERY cool - get's SUPER hot in just a couple of minutes. We're doing Carne Asada tonight. Maybe I'll take some pics and post. This is DEFINTELY a great grill for the boat and camping! Wood smoking taste, and you can even poor wine or beer into the bottom and it cooks up the flavor into the meat because it burns so hot.
Supposedly, it doesn't leave a mess because it's so hot. I'll let you know on that one. BUT it does come apart pretty easy and everything but the fane is dishwasher safe. I bought the carrying back and a bag of wood blocks and starter stuff for it too - that's overrated though. I also hacked up a couple of pieces of old firewood last night and used cardboard to start it - it worked just fine.
More later - but so far this is a kick ass grill for camping for the family!

Just grilled up 4lbs of carne asada, 2lbs of pollo asada, and some of those giant onions. I'll be posting a full report with pics in the next couple of days, but it's a smaller grill than my other BBQ and it took about the same amount of time using 3 blocks of wood (about 2 in. square) and 2 other small chunks of random (non-hardwood) wood.
So far - so good!
sounds good greg. i was wondering if you got that thing yet.

Ran it through the dishwasher last night - not much came off of it, but there wasn't much on it to begin with! I think I'll run the wire brush over the grate and put it back together, then in the bag, and post pics of the whole "New Q Experience"! It's DEFINITELY an interesting grill - and it DEFINITELY smokes the meat a bit!
