Yep, never been. And know that I shouldn't go yet, only because I can't afford to buy the toys needed :) Long travel sandcar, 34' weekend warrior, you get the idea. I really have the itch, especially since I am staring out my office window just watching all of the DUNE rigs head out of town. Any one do $100K interest free loans....for 50 year terms :rollinglaugh: :dunno: :laugh:

I've never done the sand thing but I wouldn't mind having something at some point to go exploring in the desert around Havasu in the winter.....c'mon lotto! :rollinglaugh:

Is that a Funco Chassis? I've been checking out some of those sand/duel sport cars online and in the trader mags. You could drop 100K on one of those cars without too much trouble. Tatum Motor Sports (http://www.tatummotorsports.com/tatumcars/) has a duel sport that starts at about 100K that sure would be fun during the winter time!:thumb:

It's an eyeball fabrications, the only way I would put 100k in a sand car would be in the glove box, the dessert would eat my car up! good for a couple good blasts across the dessert though:thumb:
