COOL! Want it not too loud though - for the Yukon, I think it's what - the three chamber? Had that on the Tahoe and it sounded awesome! Now Rude has it on the Tahoe http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

V 10s are tricky, you can actually lose power by mess'n with them to much, a 3 chamber for $130 does the most! it gives it some growl and makes it flow good in the lower rpm range where you drive the most.and also helps in the gear drop for passing. add a $50 crome tip and you are done. if you want less growl use the big suv flowmaster $180 it will perform the same ,just quieter. drop a K&N filter and you are done!
you have to remembr the V 10 is a smaller motor than even the 454 7.4 VS 6.8 and the V10 makes max tourque @ 4700 rpms. so opening up the exhaust too much will kill the bottom end causing you to have to run in a lower gear http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/headshake.gif
this is a case where less is more,
I keep everything in stock and it takes less than an hour to do! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumb.gif

He probley lost low-end power and gas milage! depending on the year, they perform best w/ a single 3" tail with a 3chamber flowmaster, V10s like a chambered muffler, even banks made what they call a step muffler http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/chin_scratch.gif kina like a two stroke pipe http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumb.gif

You have a few more options here, from the factory it has dual 3'' head pipes with dual cats, here is where it gets tricky the head pipes are too big, but they put them in to a very restrickive muffler that looks like it has two exits going in to one tail, but it is really a one exit muffler, we have the big 2 in 1 out flow [it's $180 in stalled] and we take the rear "Y" out and add a piece of pipe[$40.] works great, just add a drop in K&N and you are done
next, you can change out the whole tail pipe [ instead of the $40. piece of pipe] to a 4" mandral bent[$100.
I have found that the 8.1 likes the single out best for torque http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumb.gif
the 3" 3chamber works also $130 plus remove the "Y" $40
its just a lot more raspy http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/dunno.gif
any way add a $50 crome tip and you will be spinn'n and grinn'n [ that's $hit'n and get'n for you utah folks} http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumb.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/beerchug.gif

some thing about the 06, it likes the muffler http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/dunno.gif
sometimes if the air goes by the 0-2 sensor it makes the ecm think it's lean, and dumps more fuel [which causes the plume of smoke] which kills the gas milage, which kills the low end performance http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/duel.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/chin_scratch.gif

Watch it wise guy... Think about it like this... How many MOTORS have ford released that they havent had a problem with. Now this is Nissans first production V8 that i can remember they have always done 4's and 6's but the 5.6 is their first 8. How many problems have you heard w/ the motor and tranny combo.. NONE! :D The only issues i have heard of are brakes and rear ends which were both resolved within a year. Now ill take my 345ft lb's of torque and 4.10's and go smoke some cheap ass tires :D

better think twice about pulling 7k-9k with that. My little bro has the truck with the 5.6 and he loves it but its no full size truck..question for you?...why would you put 4:10's on a suv?
Thats what is in it from the factory.. The Big Tow option is geared with the equivilant of 4.10's
