I need to work on the fuzzy smilies. Other than that, everything seems to be working ok.

The site should be very cool when complete and people start posting pics (I will have about 40 or so of my boat, my girl, etc. to post soon). Â*It already has a cool, clean look.:d
Keep up the good work!! Â*Hope to meet all of you on the water.

Hey Jason,
Thanks for the positive feedback. This baby is almost finished! (although it will never really be finished) I just need to get the word out now.
I'll be in Havasu next weekend. Then at mead the next few weekends (I can't wait any longer to get my boat wet). If you're going to be out or planning any trips drop me a note.
Thanks
Greg

I don't know if we'll be out to Havasu for Memorial - I know I'd love too, but they close the sandbar down which steals all of my thunder. We're going next weekend and will post how it is for spring break - and hopefully some pics as well.
Thanks for the positive feedback and I look forward to getting to know you as well as all of the other LV Hot Boat Enthusiasts!!!

Witchcraft,
They have had problems in the past on busy weekends with gang-bangers showing up and starting fights, there tends to be major littering....... and oh yeah, filming pornos on houseboats. Â*I don't mind one of those three! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif It's just too bad that it gets SSSOOOOOOO crazy at the sandbar they now have to shut it down during certain weekends and ruin it for the rest of us. Â*That just causes those wild groups to go to either the channel or Copper!

RiverLife hit the nail on the head. It really sucks that people get so stupid out there and screw it up for the fun loving ones of us. I was there for Memorial two years ago at the sandbar and someone was stabbed and airlifted out - the guy had no clue who did it or why. People just get dumb.
So, I'd love to head out there for that, but the sandbar is the best part of the trip and that will be closed. It's open right now, but will close for the big holiday weekends - stealing my thunder.
So I'm thinking of making something happen out here at Mead instead. If I can get enough people involved, it will be fun and safe for everyone. We'll see.

Welcome to the world of powerboat clubs Greg! I had a great time in Vegas this weekend and it was great meeting you and your VP, Katrina! We have much to do and I look forward to talking to you very soon!!!!
As far as the sandbar goes, many problems in the past, including gang violence. Once, while closed, the cop boat that was parked there got straffed by automatic gunfire. However, last summer, I found it to be open almost everytime I was there.
The popular hang outs include the sandbar, Copper Canyon, Steamboat Cove (just past Copper on the left) and of course the channel. I frequent Steamboat and then hit Havasu Palms for dinner. Great Steak!
Not much of a boating season due to my second son being due June 29, but hope to see you all out there the few times I do go.
Have a great boating season! Great job and Great luck Greg and crew!

Thanks CJ - glad you made it home safe! Hope to see you soon.

The site looks great guys. Last time I went to Havasu was about 3 years ago for spring break....too crazy! It was a lot of fun but some of the attitudes these a..holes sport is amazing. I can tell you that the Vegas boating scene is great during the summer. We've met some awsome people there.
What wax are you guys using? I think it's getting that time again.

Automatic gunfire!!!! Holy S--T! That is f---ing rediculous. Anyway, dave, I use Meguire's Boat Polish, it seems to work pretty awesome.
If any of you boat Lake Mojave, I will be there this weekend out of Cottonwood Cove (22 - 24) short but sweet. Everyone on this forum seems to be very cool people, I would love to meet and boat with any and all of you. Let me know!

Dave,
I use Maguires (I know I spelled that wrong) too. Although I wimped out this year and paid to have it done by Offshore Marine. It was outrageous, but looks like new.
RL - I definitely want to head down to Mojave over the next few weekends, but this one is HAVASU BABY! I'm stoked to get my favorite toy wet for the first time this season (get your mind out of the gutter).
Can't wait to hook up on the lake!
