XBOX for the holidays

Ok, How much for my second XBOX? It works great, even has a controller and two games - I had to get a new one, and well was going to take it back because I got this kick ass surround system and the old one wouldn't play the left channel in surround - lost the receipt. I was trying to screw the microsoft corporation, because they always screw us. Oh well.

So it works perfect except the left audio channel won't work for surround, but if you're just hooking it up straight to the TV it's fine.

Doesn't the lack of a left channel impact the DVD functionality? I thought one of the neat benefits of the Xbox was its ability to be a DVD player AND a game console. Or am I mistaken?

no, you're right, but I totally forgot about that. We've never once used it for a dvd player anyway,we have another dvd player.

Problem solved anyway, we figured out how to get it taken care of.

Let me clarify my intent on that, I was trying to screw them because I know I would have had to send they're broken product in and paid shipping, and paid them to fix it, and then wait to get it back and that's a bunch of crap - It's barely a year old.
