I need someone to build some items for the new warehouse.
Anyone know of a decent metal fabricator. It is not too complicated, just some basic square stock building stuff.
Please let me know ASAP.
Thanks.

Even simple stuff needs to be done a certain way, Bill. The metal will twist and turn, become weak and brittle if not done correctly. What I am trying to say is dont let some guy that just has a welder do it. Look at previous jobs. There are LOTS of guys out there that claim to be welders. Metal work is pretty technical at times.

Ah, its all over rated.
I was a welder full time for 10yrs until I decided to quit before I have to live with an iron lung. Worked in Mfg building Cement Trucks, Pipe Line, Bridges, Farm Machinery and much more. The only way people would leave me alone was to sell everything I had.
Now that I have moved her, I went to Home Depot and bought me a Lincoln Arc Welder just to do little stuff when needed.
I guess I would qualify for that just anybody that has a welder laying around. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/jump.gif

As you know, been a full time welder at one time that lots of guys who can turn on a machine and sorta strike an arc claim to be welders. When you start asking them about a low hydrogen rod to do a cover pass they wont know what the hell is going on.
Just want Bill to be cautious, that is all.

Try Custom Metal Designs ask for Tony at 702-362-7276. He's done some work for me. Somewhere by Polaris is all I can remember of the streets, just know how to get there.

I have arc welded exhaust pipe and even gotten Aluminum to stick to Copper....till it cooled.
New Flux a vendor was claiming for Oxy-Act welding/brazing
\And I went to school for it as well as reading. Ask Red N Vegas about my skills

Oh, now I rember what started this all. The guy up the street from me claimed to be a CERTIFIED welder. I wanted to borrow his MIG machine to weld my trailer fender on. He insisted he do it. Well about a week later the welds broke. I did it with a flux core wire feed and they held perfect. Built it up, ground it down, painted it and looks just like new.

The 909er would get less done than the average Californian. However they do slightly more than say a 760er. But of course nobody does as much as a 949er right McD? The hierarchy of So. Cal. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif Somebody please get me out of here!!!
By the way 909, you know you have a bad reputation if a Texan not only knows about you but he knocks you all the way from Japan. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smashfreak.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smashfreak.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smashfreak.gif
