As of 8/12/2005 Sprint and Nextel are one company. Â*We are all very excited about this merger.
Should see some better coverage out on the lake by the end of this year!
Here is our new Logo, I put the webpage next to the logo.

Who would you say this is more of a benefit to, Sprint or Nextel? Because I'm tired of the crappy service I have with Sprint and was thinking I wanted to switch to Nextel. Now what do I do? http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/dunno.gif

Benefits both companies. Sprint wanted Nextel becasue of it's Dealer Base and Loyal Business Customers, Nextel wanted Sprint becasue of it's CDMA Voice System and Deep Pockets.
Sprint and Nextel will still have two seperate systems for the next few years. Try Nextel, I can give you a demo phone for a few days to see if it works where you need it to.

Thats what I was thinking. Is there anyway around a contract with Nextel?

I can give you a 15 day trial period, you can get out of the contract in that 15 day period. Otherwise you will have to be in a 1 or 2 year contract.

Hey John-
I'd be interested in getting a Blackberry/equivalent for use on my current Sprint number. Been a customer since '98/'99(?). Is this possible? Can I link this to my BoatBling email if its my personal phone number? Can I get a better rate/deal if I ditch my personal contract and get a business contract--but keep this phone number. I use this phone for personal and ALL business.
Current use is about 1500 daytime minutes (7am-7pm) and 1500 nights and weekend minutes per month http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif
My plan is 2000 day and then unlimited n/w current so I'm not going over, but would like to have an equivalent contract/cost with the benefit of my corp email on the go.
Let me know what you recommend.
Thanks,
Patrick

Hey Patrick
Does not matter if we do Business or Personal Credit, the rates I can offer will be the same. Â*You can bring your number from Sprint....No problem there.
With the Blackberry you can have up to 10 pop3 email accounts linked to it. Â*Hooking up your business email will be easy.
Because you have the Affliliation with Mercruiser and GM Products we can do some heavy discounts on all the rate plans that we offer. Â*For example I can do unlimited minutes for $91.10 per month, this plan is normally $199.99 per month.
Our 2000 minute plan is $81.99 per month so you are much better off going with the Unlimited Plan For $91.10.
Call me and we can discuss all of your options.

Thank You

Thanks for the info John. Â*I was checking out a couple of phones/pda/blackberry type devices online. Â*Do you sell these two models:
PPC-6600 and Treo 650? Do these really have digital camera's and video capabilities? I saw the other thread about posting pics/videos from the lake--this seems sweet.
What do you think? Â*What is better?
Sounds like something I'll definitely be ready to do soon--I NEED email and a huge phonebook on the go.
Thanks again,
Patrick

As of right now Nextel only has the Blackberry 7520, which is an Email and Web Device, not a PDA.
In the next few weeks we will be selling the full line of Sprint Products and you will be able to get a full-on PDA,Email and Web Device all in one. Check in with me soon and I am sure we can get you what you want.
Go to www.sprintpcs.com you can see all the different PDA's on there that we will be selling.
Thanks

Yes, I don't know how to do it but I can hook you up with someone that does. You have to use the Blackberry or the Treo.
I have a few new stores opening in
California and I am installing cameras in them. I want to do the same thing as you.
See you on monday Bill
