We'll be in Havasu the 12th and 13th but I don't know if we'll have time to put the boat into the water. Too many things to do that weekend for the new house. We might also be in Vegas for the 19-20 weekend as a close friend is closing his escrow on his house at Anthems. Should be a spectacular house except he's not a boater http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif so no 40' deep garage.

Definitely we will but the timing might be troublesome with the errands we have to run...it was really tough the last time I was in Havasu and couldn't get on the water!

We may be down there that weekend. My brother in law said he may come to Vegas that weekend, if he does we will hit Havasu. I probably won't know for a few more days though.

Well, for those of you who didn't make it out....You Missed Out!!! It was an awesome weekend on the water (at least on Havasu). Saturday we were at Copper Cyn till about noon or so and then headed up to the Sandbar. Both places were hoppin'. Hooked up with D4$ and his family (Great to see ya again Kurt) at the Sandbar. I haven't had time to take a look yet, but I don't think it is anything major. My preliminary thoughts are that I broke a distributor drive gear, or possibly the distributor shaft.
I was just cruising along at about 3000 rpm and she backfired out of the carb twice and died. I thought maybe the fuel pump died, it went lean and so on, but all was fine. It cranks just fine but no fire.( MSD maybe?)
I didn't have any tools with me so I just loaded it up and went home. I had to travel back east all week so I needed to get home and get ready to go.
I will be taking a look at her tomorrow morning, and I bet she'll be roarin' again by the time you guys come over!!!!
