Question about Mojave??

It looked like Hoover Dam in your first LVHB video. I've only been a mile or so past Willow Beach. How is the river further up to where you can see the dam and take a picture?? Thinking about a Mojave trip in September. Thanks.

Cold. A few rocks to watch out for but like anything else, just pay attention and youll be fine.

It's nice there, but the water is way cold up by the damn. You can get close enough for pics, there are some in the gallery I think.

It's not really that far from Willow to the damn.

nope, shouldn't be a problem just keep your eyes open, the water is super clear and you can see to the bottom.

I hate to say this, but, we're looking at 9/20-9/22. I know, I know, it's the big regatta weekend in Havazoo, but we're probably heading to Laughlin for a laid back kind of weekend on Lake Mojave. We're going to drive up to Cottonwood this time and just do the upper part of the lake. I don't really care, as long as I'm boating! Have not been to Willow Beach in 2 years, but last time it was an awesome run. Thanks for the info!
