HELLO LONG TIME NO TALK. I WANTED TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS HAD EXPERIENCE WITH ANY BUSINESSES IN TOWN OR LAKE HAVASU THAT THEY WOULD RECOMMEND TO PAINT A BOAT? ALSO IS IT A HARD PROCESS OR EVEN WORTH DOING? OFCOURSE THE OUT COME IS WORTH IT, BUT IS IT USUALLY VERY EXPENSIVE? ANY ADVISE OR LIFE EXPERIENCES WOULD BE HELPFUL.

Don't most people regelcoat? I would think gel would be more durable.

Boat paint is usually a Polyurethane base paint. Fiberglass flexes and the paint has to move with it as well. The Pros use a 2 part that is pretty hard to use for the individual. A one part can be used by the individual, and even a good automotive can be used in small areas, ABOVE the waterline. But the 2 part is best. But still ask around. Some thing new might be out. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif
