View Full Version : Government Wash Launch Ramp

Is this ramp still open? I've heard Las Vegas Bay Marina was moved over near Hemenway launch. I will be staying at the Fiesta in Henderson on Thursday 8/12 and would like to launch in that area for a quick trip up through the Narrows. Is the Callville ramp a bust for noise violations midweek?

I'm staying in Henderson that night; Echo would be a little too far to drive for a few hours on the water. Launch at Lake Mead Marina or Las Vegas Bay Marina (now at Hemenway Wall) ... you'll be fine both places. The best launch is Lake Mead Marina ... I have been past many water cops this summer and no tickets.

Gov't Wash, and the location of the old Las Vegas Bay Marina have been closed for at least a year. Follow all the advise above...
