does anyone have any connections at a dodge dealership? or any recommendations on which dealerships to go to or stay away from??

Stay away from ALL the dealers in Vegas. My father-in-law before retirement was a fleet rep. for Chrysler so when I can stomach buying a Dodge-Chrysler-Plymouth product (Jeep Wranglers for the kids) we call the factory and order through his dealer cost number.

Talk to T&B and go to Utah ... St. George has some reasonable dealerships and are more willing to work with you given the different customer base and economy dynamic.

Stay away from Tom Siatas. We found a 1 ton dually diesel on thier web pag at a good price, call to confirm the price and make sure it was still available. Arrive at the stealership and they say it's a miss print, and that it was ordered for a fleet sale. We've had good luck with Towbin, just stay away from the Chopper Editions

Buying from Utah is a major hassle if you live in NV. You will have to pay NV tax when you register, and you will have to have the vehicle inspected. You will get screwed on temp plates and how long it takes to get your paper work. If you are going to get a loan, plan on taking several trip to St. George and good luck on getting a loan being out of state. We bought 1 car up there and it was a MAJOR Pain in the A**. Not worth the trips and travel time.

Money Talks, being pre-approved cuts out a lot of the hassle.

just another payment

Talk to Randy out at Saitta Trudeau in Pahrump. We have had great luck with them on the past 3 trucks we have bought.

We (family company) buy a dodge every year
we order from factory but deal through Scott Reber out of Desert
All dealers will screw you. but I believe scott does it a little less than others
he sells a lot of trucks So he doesn't make as much off of everyone
he spreads the screwing around

don't know if this will help or not but I have a friend who's Brother and Sister both bought basically identical brand new ford
Brother bought in New Mexico
Sister bought in California
Brother paid$13,000 less
not sure if it's stupidity on Sisters part or the Brother swinging a hell of a deal, but maybe this will help your descision http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

No i'm broke. I am a project superintendent, I build medical facilities. I just sold my house in seven hills, it doesn't close escrow until 7-26 but the woman who bought it paid us an extra 10k to move out a month early. Anyhow with the proceeds for my house my boat, truck, credit cards and the 3 new cars 1 BMW X5 & 2 Lexus IS 300's for the son and wild child will all be paid off. I will be debt free for at least a week or so http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Ford D plan, for Ford employee's gets you about 30-35% off sticker. Dealers hate it when I pick out a car and they do all the paperwork and I tell them D Plan, Ford sets the price.... No commission to the dealer except $250.00.

GM employee price is much less % off than that...

Markup on a typical US manufacturer from invoice (not including incentives) to MSRP used to be about 15-20% on factory installed options and anywhere from 25-100% (or more) on dealer installed options. Is that still true?

sounds about right as far as add-on options like running boards, bedliners etc. we mark those up 25%
