Costco, again...about $130-140 bucks, I think...you'll need different hold downs unless you wanna' jury rig something. If you want...you can charge the batteries you have and take them to somewhere that has a battery load tester to verify they're still good.

Why wash/wax it? Put the ear muffs on the outdrive and try starting it on each one of the batteries....if each one turns it over strong....should be good to go. I'd go to Sears if I were you and get yourself one of those portable battery jumpstarters...Jump and Carry or some name like that. Once you get to the lake if the boat won't fire use the jumper to get it going. Drive the hell out of the boat to deep charge the batteries and you'll be okay...if not you can always pick up a cheapee (sp) battery or two there to make it thru the week.

I had dead batteries - both - once in Laughlin on the ramp and had to pull the boat back out and rent one of these Jump 'N Carry goobers. Bought one right after that and have never used it but always have it in the truck...Beware though...you periodically have to check it...mine has three LEDs on it...red, yellow and green...to indicate its state of charge. Every once in a while I have to charge it back up to the green as it drops over time to the yellow position. I carry a spare electrical extension cord with me for those times we take the boat on a trip away from home so I can drag it into the hotel/motel/whatever and charge it if needed.
