Nina and I will be cruising Lake Havasu this coming weekend...

Keith... will do, this past weekend was pretty crowded and we got there way late... I usually try to drop anchor on the back side of the sand bar, away from the large wakes off of the river...

I know I have seen you while I was there. I always drop anchor on the far east side of the sandbar for the same reason.

Cool! Sounds like the next LVHB event is going to be this weekend at the Havasu Sandbar!

I was actually there this past weekend on Sat as well. Â*Went to the sandbar early (10am) from Moabi, then back up toward Moabi. Â*Some guy blew up his motor, so we stopped and gave him a ride to Topock marina. Â*Went back to his boat and dropped him off, then on the way to the sandbar, my motor blew a piston.
Did manage to drive it back to the dock at Moabi, but it wasn't doing good. Â*Got a loaner on there now (thanks Kevin at R&R! ), but have some work to do on my motor. Â*http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif
At least I'm still on the water though.
