I'm trying for Sunday but not sure if I will make it. The boat is in about a hundred pieces but it may be back together by Saturday nite. Also depends on the wind forecast.

I heard low wind for Sunday 6-12 mph. The boat is back together. New 10" subs, 250w sub amp, used 300w amp for back speakers, and original 160w amp that used to push six speakers is only pushing the front four now. Sounds pretty good. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif Also changed oil, plugs, and fuel filters. I was going to install Aqua step that we bought at the boat show but ran out of time, next week maybe.

Probably be up around LVHB around noon or so unless the wind is really howling.

may not look bad out the window.....
can't speak for Mead today but it blew like a mo-fo all weekend on Mohave. I pulled it out about 10:30 this morning, tired of sitting on the beach not going anywhere but it was blowing hard enough that anytime you shut off the boat started blowing around in circles and at the friggin' rocks.....
still better than home I guess

Made it back with everything intact. Wind was mostly just annoying, three footers probably, nothing we couldn't run in but made for a rough ride. Never did get up to LVHB beach, didn't want to go through the Virgin basin, found a nice beach just past Sandy cove, think it is called Rufus cove, good sand, room for 10 maybe 20 boats. Launched at Callville, the road is paved all the way in, don't tell anybody outside this board, ramp is good. Saw aquaholic bum's ride on the trailer as we left but no sign of him. There was a 23' something or another tied up to the dock with only about a foot of the left bow section above the water. There was people standing around it who were nursing a little oil drenched field mouse back to health that had apparently chewed a hole in the bilge pump hose, idiots.
The bad news is I drove by one of my jobsites on the way to the lake to check on the backhoe I left there on Friday and it was not there http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/angry.gif so tomorrow I get to spend the day with the cops and insurance agents.
