Anyone been out to Willow yet this year? We are thinking of going out there this weekend. Anything we should know about?

Bring a wet suit if you plan on swiming! Haven't been there this year, was there last August. Think there is a restriction on which boats can go up river from Willow to the dam isn't there, somebody?

it's my understanding that after memorial day they will allow any powerboat up river except on sundays and mondays.

i think it was all part of the deal to keep the pwc's from getting the boot off of lake mead nat. rec. area water. please don't take my word for it though, if you can figure out which branch of gov. to call i'd do that too just to make sure.

Until Memorial Day there will be no boats with more than 65 mph allowed up river. My advice, just hitch a ride with Kevin.

Willow beach is the best kept secret on the Colorado River. Only one, no two pieces of advise: Be sure you have good trailer brakes when you go down to the ramp, and be sure to cool them for a LONG time before you launch, and (2) don't try and swim until you get down close to Cottonwood, unless you like 54 degree water...

don't listen to this burt guy. Willow sucks...dirt ramp, floating garbage, gang bangers. Don't go to Willow...I repeat don't go to Willow. Oh yeah, and you will void your Mercruiser warranty by launching there.

(I love the place...don't tell anyone else about it ever again OK? )
