Not too many dyno pads available for testing props on boats, so I thought maybe a G-Tech would be a good way to go - won't work. The manufacturer said that it requires a perfectly flat and perfectly straight path for the data collection. They get inquiries all of the time but it won't produce accurate results because of the boat wandering around, not even on a glass lake.

Does anyone have one?

Has anyone tried to use it on a boat?
