I made it out today, Sun mar 14. The weather was nice, and little rough in places, but not to bad. Can't wait for summer time.

OUt all day on Mead ... the North Basin was a sheet of glass all day ... had a beer with Revolver on LVHB Beach ... did not see anyone else out???

No T&B??? What's up??? Thought you would be there for sure ...

Only bummer on the way back I must have hit something ... sheered the bottom of my skeg guard right off.

I was up in T&B's area today. Had to drive up to Parawon (200 miles) to tow back a broken buddies Suburban. Looked for T&B on the way back down but never spotted him. I had the boat fired up around 1 yesterday. I was yelling to the wife, were going to the lake. Then reality hit. I have to clean the boat, put my stickers on it, get my trailer tags off my trailer on base, fuel up, get ice ( already had the beer) and all that stuff. Would have gotten to Callville, put the boat in the water and then had to take it out. I will make it out. I feel like an addict in detox. Shaking and all, just to go to the lake. kevnmcd -- can't get the speedo to work right. Felt like I was going fast on Sun., but I like to know!!! Had it all pulled out today and shipped back for exchange to Nordskog. Offshore said they had never seen a skeg-guard sheer like mine. the bottom fin is gone and the rear end is open about an inch. They thought the welds must be bad and are giving me another one free. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif. With oil change, and some other minor warranty stuff that needs parts, I am probably off the lake til the weekend of the 26th. Maybe a trip to Havasu then?

The day at Havasu (Saturday) was AWESOME! Beautiful weather! Water is up but not to summer levels yet. Met up with a solo H2OAdvantage and hung in Steamboat most of the day. Cruised to Havasu Springs for lunch and cruised through the channel where all of the crazies were out and about. Bitchin' day @ 85°!

I'll echo what E502 said, Saturday at havasu was fantastic. We were sitting boatless in the channel doing our best to empty our ice chest, while smoking an Arturo Fuente no less -when we saw E502 and his wife cruise by.

Family obligations kept us from boating last weekend, but it was great to be there just the same. Although I must say my wife took an earful of s--t from me about not being on the water. First free weekend and I'm there!

You should have hollered at us as we went by! Was it morning or afternoon...went into the channel to pick up H2OAdvantage around 10:30 and dropped him off sometime in the afternoon.

I want to say it was about 3:30 AZ time. We were getting ready to pack up and head up the hill. There were a bunch of spring breakers around us, who probably would have begged you to take them to Copper Canyon.

I talked with my Dad this morning and he said it will be 90 today and so far not a breath of wind. We'll hook up soon, although it will be a few weeks before I make it out.

At 3:30 we were heading back to the Marina to put the boat back on the trailer. We had an appointment with our realtor/builder for that afternoon and had to make it an early day.

Our next weekends out will be:

March 26/27/28
April 9/10/11

I don't know ... Wierd ... no marks on the prop or the front of the skeg-guard, but the back of the guard was completely ripped open and the bottom fin was completely torn off. More kudos to Offshore ... they replaced the skeg-guard for free and wrote it off as a bad weld ... even gave me an upgraded pump for my front shower at the lower end cost and found some things that needed fixing that I did not notice but would have made the next trip a bummer.
