When we first bought the truck in February, dropped by the little shop in my hood and asked the owner about wheels and tires for the truck. Â*He had these Boyd Coddington wheels, 20x9.5. Â*They were originally bought by a long shoreman who had them on an Excusion for about six months, had them Chromed at $150 each, as soon as they came out with 22s he decided to upgrade. Â*The retail on these wheels for this size is way up there.

So in February the guy told me $2800 for the wheels with the big Toyos, two weeks ago he told me $1600 cash.

This guy conducts business in an interesting way. Â*He writes the $1600 on the botton of the receipt and works backwards from there.

The Toyos are $320 per tire on TireRack.com, x4 that is $1280. Â*This guy charged me $400 for the wheels, $900 for the tires and dropped the rest into mounting balancing and tax.

The ride is fantastic and they look great!

The place is called Rolling Wheels in Harbor City, si habla espanol. If your looking for five or six lug wheels these guys might be able to make you a deal that you can not refuse.... on tires they are competitive, especially since the price they quote is usually the out the door price.

The new shoes really made a difference in the ride, a little more noise but way smoother than the Firestone imploding devices that Ford put on the truck.
