With the headgasket damage, I can't afford to make the trip to Powell and OP6 the following weekend.

Since I'm not going to Powell, I will go out on Mead on Saturday. Anyone else going out that day? Current plan is to put in at Cauville by 9am.

Screw that! What's the point of owning a boat and NOT using it? I plan to be out every weekend the weather is good and I have money for gas!

We'll be out 6/15 but not until about 4 pm. We'll probably stop at sandy cove for a quick one and then head up around midpoint for camping. Echo Bay for breakfast, play around Sunday morn and be back in Sunday afternoon.

Haha, no I don't have a radio yet. I was supposed to buy one from LM1, but he forgot and we never got around to it. Maybe I need to go get it tonight.

Let me know what channel you're on if you get it and I will holler for ya when I get out there. It won't be till at least 4 PM though. We will put in at Callville and head up river from there.

I did get the radio from Greg. He says Channel 4 #20 is about the most popular. I'll be on that. By 4pm, I'll likely be on my way in. Maybe I'll see you at the ramp.

They don't get VHF like the marine radios that the rangers use. These radios were set up by the FCC to use for jobsites, conventions, stuff like that. It just seems everybody has them and they are really handy. Channel #4 -20 I'll look for ya on my way out.
