Hey D, he hasn't voted yet and for some reason it says he already has - just FYI. Can you vote for him? His vote was no.
Thanks

Unfortunately, if you click "view results", this counts as your vote (null vote). It's a built in safe guard to keep the results fair. This way a voter can't view the results and vote based on which way the poll is going. Currently there is no way around this and it doesn't allow the votes to be edited by anyone, but this is a known issue and it is being addressed in the next release of the forum software. I guess for now, we can just include a little note about this when starting a poll to inform members of the "view results" issue.

hey D, I just went over to Sneekee's (Matt). When he pulled it up (and he hadn't even looked at it yet, he's just a lurker) it didn't even have the vote button up, just the poll results so he couldn't vote either. Strange.
I'm sure he'll just post what he thinks.

LM1, Guest will have to register to vote. So if a guest is viewing the board and they have not registered or logged in, they won't see a vote button, but they will see the poll results. Now the other scenario is for members that are logged in. If you are logged in, you won't see the poll results until you vote first, or if you select the "view results (null vote)" button. Once you vote, it will redirect you to the results. So, if someone views the results instead of voting, that cancels out their vote and it will not allow them to vote. Hope that helps.

Omega 1 didn't have a vote button either (he sent me a pm), and sneekee registered when we first got this up. Just FYI. It's not a big deal because we don't do that many polls.
