Well here's what you get when Hardin Marine pulls out all the stops to design a flame arrestor with the most airflow possible for Mercruiser's Magnum MPI Series engines. Sure a number of companies claim to make ultra hi-flow units, let's compare the facts. Size of this unit measures 11-1/2" long, 6" tall by a full 4-5/8" thick, no other MPI series flame arrestor comes close. This unit flows as much as 300 CFM more than clamp-on series flame arrestors. So you wonder how do they get such a large flame arrestor in the limited space available? By simply slightly offsetting the assembly towards the front of the engine Hardin Marine has been able to allow clearance of aftermarket performance exhaust systems, a feature that has plagued other brands. But the best is yet to come, you see the Hardin Marine "XS" flame arrestor is mated to 1-1/2" thick dyno proven throttle body spacer that's shown to increase horsepower and torque from 2000 rpm on up where you need it most. All of this in a beautifully polished finish and this unit attaches with all factory hardware just like the original. But best of all it's US Coast Guard approved. If you want the ultimate MPI flame arrestor the Hardin Marine "XS" unit is the one to demand.

Hell, I was logged on before you this morning. Usually log on around 6:30 or so when I get to the office. I just missed the thread since this forum board software has glitches in the "New Posts" functionality.

Handling fees? http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif There was no mention of these in the original sales agreement! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif Actually, let me know what the shipping charges are and I will pay you for those. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

What I get with the "New Posts" button is not what I get on other forum boards. If I click on "mark all posts read" and then click on "New Posts" I still see all of the posts that should have disappeared as having been read. I sometimes can get it to work correctly when I go to each section of the board and click on "Mark posts as read" for that section, log out and then close the browser window. Opening a new browser window and logging back in then clicking on "New Posts" will show me only the posts made since I logged out. This does NOT work if the exact steps are not followed. Other boards will IMMEDIATEDLY mark the posts as read and flag the new ones either in a new color (Hot Boat) or not display them on the New Posts search window (other forums using the IKONBOARD software). I reported this to Greg a year ago but still doesn't work right. Tried it with IE and Netscape - both on Windows (NT and Win9x) and UNIX. No big deal it just makes searching for new posts a little more tedious. The board does sort them, at least, by time of post.

Mike - Sorry to hear that. When I get in the forum, I just hit the "New Posts" button and it gives me all the recent posts from "most recent" at the top in decending order. I just work my way down the list. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif I have never tried the "mark all posts read" button. What is the purpose of this button?

To remove from the "New Posts" list those that you have already read or weren't interested in. Try it here and then try it on another IKONBOARD forum. Also, on Hot Boat you can do the same thing by going to "My Profile" and clicking on
"Update New Post Indicators". I do have to do this twice to make it work as I would expect but it does work.

Kevin, according to UPS the box "should" be delivered Thursday afternoon...

Handling charges $50.00
Packing fees $42.05
Shipping $7.95

As you can tell by the charges, the box is packed really well!

Thanks for the update. The most I am able to spend on this part is $107.95. But to compensate for the rest (Handling and Packing) of the fees, I will offer up my "Tool Biatch" for the week while we are in Powell. Oh and by the way....he is great at fetching beers, too! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
