Where to you guys buy wheels and tires? Online? Local store? If so what sites or store is the best?

Just wondering. I'm going to try and talk the wife into new or used wheels and tires if I can http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Oh yeah, it's for my 2000 Tahoe if that matters.

What are you wanting to get: sizes, tread, etc.?
Why are you going to put so much money into it if you don't even like it? http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Beach Bum seemed to think it may help a little with towing - you know, wider profile tires and wheels - maybe 20's

You mean something like the pic below? There are a number of things you could do: exhaust, chip, K&N FIPK kit, and the wheels and tires might help some. But if you are going to spend all of that money, upwards of $3K, why don't you put on a Supercharger instead? About the same money.

its all good

Thanks It's all good and Keith! I will check them out as soon as things settle down (with the babies coming this week).

Yeah RL, probably lower profile tires though. BBum did my exhaust - sounds sweet! It's not the pulling power, but the stability in wind I was thinking of. The lower profile wider tires and rims may help a bit. I don't know. Anyone else know? I got tires about 8 mos. ago and even though I've taken it back to rebalance I get vibrations after a little while too which bugs!

LM 1, I put larger tires on my Dodge. One of the things to think about is when towing. I tow in 3rd (OD off) and with the stock tires I would run allot of RPMs at 70-75. Over 3K. Now with the larger tires I run about 2800, same speed. Besides, it is a 4 wheel drive, it HAD to have bigger tires. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif
